Born September 17, 1842; died at Stoughton, Mass. February 9, 1904. He is buried at the Maplewood Cemetery in North Stoughton. His gravestone is very faded. A new gravestone was ordered by the efforts of the 12th Mass. Infantry, and the Stoughton Veteran's Agent in 2006.
